Relationships are precious. PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends, of Lesbians and Gays) encourages families and friends to stay close to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people in their lives.
If you are having difficulties processing the information that someone you know is gay, contact a PFLAG chapter near you. PFLAG is a primarily heterosexual organization that provides a place where parents, siblings and friends of gay people can deal with their stresses and fears, learn from knowledgeable & accepting families, and ultimately build stronger, closer relationships with their gay loved ones.
