PFLAG Chicago will be hosting a Gala to raise funds for the 'Stay Close' campaign which will launch over the summer in the Chicago region. At the Gala, PFLAG Chicago will be honoring four individuals instrumental in the passage of SB 3186, the so-called "gay rights bill" in the Illinois legislature on January 11th, 2005: Rick Garcia, Art Johnston, Representative Larry McKeon, and Senator Carol Ronen.
